Description: Cabinet of Dreams is a three-dimensional virtual environment created by Margaret Dolinsky (lead) alongside Dmitrij Hmeljak (research), Mathew A. Powers (modeling), Craig Strubing (modeling), and Adam P. Schweigert (soundtrack) at Indiana University Bloomington. The virtual environment showcase highlights the Indianapolis Museum of Art’s Chinese art collection. The team worked closely with Dr. James J. Robinson, the Jane Weldon Myers Curator of Asian Art and head of the Asian Art Department to select certain objects from the collection to be recreated as 3D computer graphics to be displayed in virtual domains.
